We reserve the right to amend or adjust these guidelines based on government policy and new research to protect the safety of all our staff and clients.
- We have undertaken a thorough review of our salon and the services we offer
- We have rearranged our treatment area to adhere to social distancing guidelines
- All surfaces throughout the salon will be cleaned regularly and wiped with the appropriate cleaning product between each treatment
- All items of equipment will be cleaned before and after every treatment. This includes all metal instruments
- One-use disposable items will be used where necessary (sustainable alternatives kept where possible)
- We will ensure adequate ventilation throughout the salon with doors and windows open where possible
- We have conducted training to ensure all team members care for our customers in a safe, hygienic and professional manner
- Staff have been trained to adapt each treatment to uphold best practice, including hygiene and safety
- Our therapists will wear gloves, masks and other personal protective equipment (PPE during treatments where required. Therapists will wash their hands before and after every treatment
- PPE will be replaced after every treatment
- Disposable couch roll will be used on the couch and thrown away in the bin after use. Where it is necessary to use towels, these will be put straight into the laundry bag after every use.
- Our therapist will stay with you throughout your treatment – not venturing out of the room – to reduce the need to replace PPE and minimise infection
- We have reviewed our treatment menu and removed treatments where we felt necessary to do so
- We will greet you warmly but without a handshake or personal contact
- We will stagger customer arrival times to minimise close contact
- We will escort you straight to the treatment room at the treatment room door
- We will need to update your medical details and get you to sign a Covid-19 waiver form.
- We ask that you pay using card or other cashless means where possible, cash is accepted but we will clean it after it is received
- To arrive at the time agreed, to maximise social distancing, please arrive at the door at your agreed time. If earlier we regret we will not be able to open the door as we will be cleaning, getting the room ready for you. Please note if you are late this will affect your treatment time.
- To use the hand sanitiser provided on entering the salon as directed by our team and before and after each treatment
- To wear a face-mask supplied by yourself. We will have a face mask you can use but there will be an additional charge of £1 to your treatment. You do not have to wear a face mask for massage/holistic treatments if you do not wish.
- We regret that at this time we cannot offer you magazines or a tea/coffee, you are welcome to bring your own. Bottled water will be provided by us.
- Please use the clothes and jewellery baskets provided to store your valuables in during treatment. This will be disinfected between clients.
- For bare foot treatments please step onto the oil cloth provided on the floor and only step onto this to get onto the couch during your time at the salon. This will be disinfected after every client.
- To contact us and re-arrange your appointment, if you have a temperature, or are feeling unwell or if any person in your household has the same or is self-isolating
