Shelley’s Therapies ("We") are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. Shelley’s Therapies offers a Mobile Service at the clients site and offers treatments at Shelley's Therapies, Unit 9, Foundry Farm, Hayle.
This policy together with our terms and conditions and any other documents referred to on it, sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. You may give us information about you by filling in forms when you visit our premises, when we come out to your home or holiday rental to provide our (our service) service to you or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail, by paper or online to book an appointment, to participate in other social media functions on our site, enter a competition, promotion or survey, and when you report a problem with our site. The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number, financial and credit card information, personal description of relevant history which may suggest that a service should not be used. We require this information in order to fulfil a contract with you.
1.1.2 For clients under the age of 18, we will only keep and use their personal information with the consent of a parent, carer or guardian.

(1.1.c) To fulfil a contract with you, when you consent to it: we will always ask for your consent to hold and use health and medical information. If you choose not to consent, it will be likely that the treatment will not go ahead.

(1.2.b) to assess any contraindications that may prevent the service from being carried out.
4. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION
4.1 We don’t share your information anyway unless described on this privacy policy. Your personal information will be dealt with in accordance with the Law. It is never sold, nor given away. It is only shared with others where you have given consent or where it is permitted or required either contractually or legally.
We will not use your personal information for any other purpose without first seeking your consent, unless authorised or required by law.
5. WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
5.2 All information you provide to us is stored locked away. Hand written diary appointments are stored away in a robust locked filing cabinet.
5.3 All client contracts are kept in a locked filing cabinet and are disposed of by shredding after 1 year.
5.4 Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
We do not sell or pass any of your personal information to any other organization and/or individuals without your express consent, unless required by law.
HOW LONG YOUR INFORMATION WILL BE KEPT FOR
6.Unless you request otherwise, we will keep your information for a maximum of 1 year from the last visit for us to use your information for any future appointments.
7. YOUR RIGHTS AND ACCESS TO INFORMATION
7.1 The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be free of charge in providing you with details of the information we hold about you, unless considered eccessive, in which case we may charge you a fee to cover administration costs.
